I love pretty things and clever words. I enjoy weaving movie quotes into day-to-day conversation. But most importantly, there are few things that make me happier than planning weddings!
Being the owner of Anna Christine Events is a dream come true. I’m the kind of girl that played bride for as long as I can remember, wearing a pillowcase on my head and coming down the hallway to The Wedding March over and over again (often making my sister Laura be the groom). Growing up, I bought wedding magazines with my babysitting money and could spend hours looking at the beautiful images of inside. Truthfully, to this day I still love curling up on the sofa with a glass of Riesling and reading them!
I started my business in 2008, after working as a corporate event manager for a large media and marketing company. Prior to my life in the event world I worked as a photographer and as a makeup artist, so those experiences influence my approach to event management and design.
Each couple we work with is unique and I love helping them find ways to incorporate their personalities into their event. I think personal touches are important and part of what make your wedding memorable! I love when guests to walk into my clients’ event and I hear them say “This is SO them!”
My favorite part of a wedding is showing the bride and groom their reception before we let their guests into the room. I love the excitement and surprise when they see what they’ve been envisioning come to life!

About Laura | Event Manager and Social Media Manager
I’ve been assisting Christy for over 32 years now and I can safely say no one knows my sister like I do. We’re very much alike (so much to the point that people sometimes confuse us for each other!) but our differences balance each other out. We often joke about her being the “creative genius” and I “the muscle” behind making it all come together, but the truth is I was born to assist her. I can anticipate what she needs in order to make our client’s dream come true and that’s just one of the benefits from growing up so close.
My working background is as diverse as I am, and from luxury hotels to government non-profit the one thing that consistently rang true with me was service. It wasn’t until I went back to school and completed my business degree that this half-forgotten fantasy of working with Christy began to reveal itself through the successful growth of her company.
I eagerly assumed the position of Social Media Manager, and weddings and events quickly became my day-to-day passion, a way for me to professionally embrace what I love the most…love, itself. From the father walking his baby girl down the aisle, the couple who renews their vows 10 years later with the wedding they never had, to the anniversary dance and the grandparents who had been married for 63 years. I have the privilege of calling these treasured moments my job. My service is in life’s celebrations and this is who I am.
I do not think I will ever be able to express exactly how much it meant for you to help Edrick and me. You put together an amazing event within two weeks and with a very small budget. Thank you for everything!

She has great relationships with the best vendors in the area. You will not be disappointed with her help. She's great for a little help or a lot. My sister and I both used her for our weddings. My sister needed a lot of consultation and ideas and I had a lot of ideas I needed a sounding board for. Christy handled both very different types of brides with ease and confidence. We chose to use the smaller of Christy's planning packages that allowed us access to her and her brilliant and helpful ideas about a month out from the wedding. She was flexible and accommodating, responded quickly to e-mails and was very professional and pleasant. She made sure to contact all of the vendors and make sure everyone was on point and prepared, and she helped the rehearsal move swiftly. On the day of she arrived early and had a hand in everything being prepared and constantly checked in with me. She was always available and helped ensure our perfect day ended without a single issue. You dream, you wonder...and then the day comes. My day was perfect.
With your help, everything on my wedding day fell into place. You were awesome. Several people commented on how calm and composed you were, and it showed. You went the extra mile to make sure the room looked the way I'd envisioned, you helped the wedding party, and your coordination with the photographer and the DJ was spot on. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for all the time you took both in preparation, and on our wedding day, to make sure every detail was no less than perfect. And your special little touches...well, you're the best!

I hired Christy and her assistant Laura for day-of-coordinating. It was the BEST decision I have ever made. I did all the planning on my own and they carried it out for me on the day-of my wedding. This allowed me, my mom, and everyone else to not worry about a thing the day of my wedding. My wedding went off without a hitch (that I know of) and they were on top of everything. They even helped run my rehearsal, which went very well, the day prior. They communicated with me via Skype 2 weeks before the wedding to go over everything concerning what I had planned for the wedding and the rehearsal. Overall this was the best investment I made and I would recommend every bride get at least a day-of coordinator! Thank you Christy and Laura for everything!
I am so thankful that I had Christy by my side from the beginning. As an excited young bride, I had many ideas but little direction. Christy was everything I needed to help me organize my vision into a beautifully fluid wedding day. She was patient, enthusiastic, organized, creative, and an overall joy to work with!
